Dec 17,  · Symphonic Shades was a song he first did on the Commodore 64 and wow, you hardly recognize it from that version, but the beautiful melody is the same. The pieces are so well adapted, that they took full power of the whole orchestra and nobody that does not know these songs before would EVER GUESS THAT THESE ARE IN-GAME TUNES FROM COMPUTER GAMES 5/5(1).

Symphonic Shades: Huelsbeck in Concert was a symphonic tribute concert held twice in Cologne, Germany on 23 August featuring video game music. The concert was held in honor of the German born video game composer Chris Hülsbeck, and featured orchestral arrangements exclusively based on Huelsbeck’s works throughout his year-long career.
